1. NWIBRT Substance Abuse Policy Compliance

Metrics: 1. Work with BCRC and Agreements Subcommittee to initiate the newly revised BCRC Substance Abuse Policy.

2. Continue to seek and identify further improvements to the BCRC Substance Abuse Policy.


2. Substance Policy Audits

Metrics: 1. NWIBRT Companies to audit compliance with newly revised BCRC Substance Abuse Policy and share results.

2. Establish a common process for policy audits


3. NWIBRT Substance Abuse Policy Revision

Metrics: 1. Define target date to move random test from 7 days to 24 hours

Provide Member companies with standardized safety protocols, auditing tools and educational seminars that address common safety concerns to achieve continuous improvement.

3. Distribute Safety Statistics Report to the Operating Committee

Metrics: 1. Determine frequency of reporting

2. Agree on format and distribution


4. Identify safety concerns that are an issue for Member companies

5. Identify safety concerns that are an issue for Subscribers

6. Identify commonalities and prioritize issues

7. Develop protocols for the safety issues

OBJECTIVES


1. Conduct a one (1) day Annual Reliability Conference with member presentations.

Metrics: 1. Prepare a Program to be presented by Subcommittee members

2. Conference to be October 18, 2007 @ CAF

3. Target forty (40) registered attendees

4. Goal of at least 4.0/5.0 average on seminar critiques


2. Development of the “Motor Load Test Specification”

Metrics: 1. Completion and posted to web site by July, 2007

Metrics: 2. Promotion and roll out at October Reliability Seminar


3. Revision of the existing DC & AC Motor Repair Specification” to adopt the changes agreed to in the

“Minimum Acceptance Requirements for Equipment Reliability” document.

Metrics: 1. Completion of update and posted to the web site by December 2007.


4. Conduct annual Subcommittee Plant visit (focus on aspects of equipment reliability and maintenance methods & systems)

Metrics: 1. Identify location of visit

2. Complete by December, 2007


5. Investigation into and development of Failure Mode Codes for specific equipment.

Metrics: 1. Identify five (5) pieces of equipment

2. Break down equipment into components

3. Develop failure modes and causes

4. Develop remedies

5. Complete by December 2007
