Can NWIBRT Benefit You?
- NWIBRT provides an appropriate ongoing forum to know and meet with peers and colleagues of other firms to learn of, to share information with and discuss items of mutual interest, i.e.
job site safety, training, constructability, project management,
productivity, labor relations and facility maintenance.
- NWIBRT offers frequent Seminars, Trade Shows and
Special Presentations of relevant topics. Speakers of prominence and
expertise, and local panel leadership teams are brought together to
create valuable informational opportunities.
- NWIBRT provides for an Information Service which
assembles and distributes to its Members and Subscribers pertinent
informational materials: Manpower Needs/Availability Projections,
items of general interest, and minutes of meeting proceedings.
- NWIBRT is 'linked', as a local user council
(LUC), to the national Business Roundtable (CURT) in Cincinnati, OH and to the Construction Industry Institute (CII). These links,
along with a 'networking' connection with over 40 LUC groups
nationwide, afford an extensive resource base.
Who is Eligible to Become a Member or Subscriber of NWIBRT?
- Active Membership
- Firms within the Northwest Indiana area who are
now, have been, or will be involved in construction or construction
related purchases from contractors in the construction/maintenance
industry, shall be eligible for membership.
Such member may be referred to sometimes as a "User of
Construction" or "Owner Member". Non-users of
construction may be admitted to membership; however, a member's
primary business shall not be the providing of construction related
services.
Active members are entitled to all benefits of the NWIBRT,
including voting privileges.
Annual Active Membership dues are $1,200.
- Subscriber Affiliation
- Any person, firm or corporation having an
interest in construction/maintenance industry activities in the
Northwest Indiana area, but not being eligible to become a member of
the Northwest Indiana Business Roundtable, may subscribe to the
Information Services of the NWIBRT.
Subscriber affiliates may enjoy the various activities, events
and membership benefits, but may not vote or attend Membership
meetings.
Annual Subscriber Affiliate fee is $300.
